Waiver and Release

​By signing on the front of this document, and in order to participate in this event, I understand and agree to the following:

 

1. LVMOC does not carry insurance, liability of otherwise, which covers me or any passenger as a participant in this event or which covers damage to my vehicle or damage I may inflict on others' property.

 

2. I currently carry and maintain minimum automobile liability insurance coverage and optional collision coverage on my participating vehicle while in transit to and from and/or in attending this event.

 

3. Both my passenger and I currently have valid state operator's/driver's licenses, and if my passenger is a minor, I have the authority to execute this document on his/her behalf.

 

4. LVMOC is not responsible for loss of or damage to any vehicle participating in this event.

 

5. LVMOC is not responsible for personal and/or physical injury to myself, to my passenger, or to any other LVMOC member or nonmember participating in this event.

 

6. I acknowledge receipt of a copy of the event's directions as well as the rules governing this event.

 

7. I will attend the event and safety orientation scheduled for immediately before departure.

 

8. I agree to abide by all rules, policies and procedures either announced or posted, oral or written, assumed or implied and/or established by LVMOC and its officers and members, as well as the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, while participating in this event.

 

9. I understand that my name, photograph, video, voice or likeness taken while participating in this event may be used by LVMOC on its website(s) or for LVMOC's promotional purposes, and I consent to and authorize, in advance, such use and waive any rights of privacy I may have.

 

10. LVMOC assumes no liability, express or implied.

 

11. I assume responsibility for my own actions in participating in this event.

 

12. I voluntarily choose to participate in this event at my own risk.

 

13. I release and hold harmless LVMOC and its officers from any liability to me or from my liability to others for my own actions.

 

14. I have carefully read this Waiver and Release and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this document is a release of liability and a contract between myself and the persons and entities mentioned above, and I sign it of my own free will.
