LVMOC is pleased to announce our seventh annual Pocono run. This is a Rain or Shine event

This is Pocono number 7. Over the years the route has changed and the number of participants grown, but we retain the original spirit of the event - fun cars and fun people gathering together for a ride in the Pocono's.

With support from Mazda USA and Young Volkswagen Mazda Dodge we plan an exciting day of activities capped off with a dinner.

Date: Sunday, June 08 2008 @ 10:00 AM EDT - 03:00PM or ...
Where: Young Volkswagen Mazda Dodge

We are pleased to announce that this year the dinner portion of the LVMOC Pocono event will be at the Pocono Brewing Company in Swift water, PA. This meal will be buffet style with your choice of two entrees (baked ziti or fried chicken), unlimited drinks (non-alcoholic) and of course they do serve alcoholic beverages for those who desire. The buffet includes Dinner Rolls and Assorted Whipped Butters (they make some very nice flavored butters), Tossed Salad, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Pasta Salad, Chef's Choice of Vegetable, and Appropriate Starch Selection.

Door prizes provided by MAZDA will be given out at PBC Pocono Brewing Company . Be sure to get your raffle ticket at Young's

We anticipate arrival time for the first group to be around 2:00 pm, and plan on having all groups depart from PBC at the same time for the ride to the top of Mt. Pocono for a group shot.

Afterwards, those who wish to do so can continue back to the Valley, with a lead car that will be following the tail end of the previous year's route, or head home via Route 80 or Route 611/33, both of which are just a short ride from PBC.

Please note that the cost of this event will be $5.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members. Non Members may join on the day of the event.

Please remember that individuals are members, not families or couples. If your membership status is not clear, please contact the Treasurer for clarification.

Attendee list: This list will be used to order the food at PBC. If you ARE attending, please make sure we have added your name. If you are not able to attend, please post this fact so that we may make adjustments to the list....

That depends on how many cars show up for the event.

Maybe we need to do Snow Hill a few times...one up, turn the other direction, then go back... three times.

Well, since I missed last year's event, I *definitely* need a Snow Hill Road fix!
