Hey Mark. Susan and myself were in Wellsboro last Monday. A bunch of rally cars were still around. I heard the creek crossing had to be closed off as the water got to 22 inches. We did the total route 6 ride East to West, with a bunch of off shoot rides. Took in some of the rally route. The entire area around Wellsboro is fantastic driving. We're going to try and make the ride. Will let you know. Are you staying in the Penn Wells Hotel (old) or the annex Penn Wells Lodge (modern) down the street?

Great news -- Wellsboro is a beautiful spot for sure.

We are staying in the bigger old hotel. The smaller, more mod section was full.

Ok -- the itinerary is now posted. If any changes should need to be made, I will update as needed. But, this is essentially good to go.

Some things yet to come. Some folks will want to leave the Canyon on Sunday at various times. So, no formal ride at the end of the day on Sunday is being planned. I will however post directions from the Canyon and have copies at the driver's meeting if needed. All participants should feel free to plan their time accordingly and depart as needed. I will post directions from the canyon to Williamsport PA following 2 different routes, one will be a more scenic back road and one all highway. So, stay tuned for those, as we get closer.

Jude and I have the first leg course mapped and directions ready. Today, we drove the route and made some updates and filled in some blanks.

We also planned the second leg from Wellsboro to the Canyon. We found some great roads. Then, a state cop escort put the lid on what will be a great section -- no ticket -- but we watched us closely for almost 5 miles (then stopped and turned around :-( We will have that route finalized within 2 weeks (around July 1st).

I stopped at Murray Mazda and spoke to the GM. As a teaser, Mazda came out with some new swag - he plans to offer some giveaways! Very nice! More later.

Ok -- off to sleep! Long day in the sun!

Right now I plan to go and need to see if Dez can stay at the hotel. My sister and cousin plan to go in a borrowed car. I need to get on this.
