Event Description
I have heard the people, and I must comply. Back by popular demand - for year 2, the PA Grand Canyon Adventure. A TWO day, overnight ride touring the fantastic sights of the PA Grand Canyon!
July 21st and 22nd. Murray Mazda in Williamsport PA, has once again agreed to host us on Saturday before we head out. And, Brent from Murray has suggested he gets request a bunch for information on clubs. He anticipates gathering some local folks to attend.
Step 1 -- Post here that you (and your guest) will be attending.
Step 2 -- Let me know if you will join the group for dinner on Saturday evening. Dinner ordered from the menu. Everyone is responsible for their own bill and gratuity.
Step 3 -- Call the hotel to get your room. Call during the week, during business hours and talk to Val - Mention the club. 1 800 545-2446.
Step 4 -- Review the itinerary below.
Step 5 -- Map your directions to Montoursville's Indian Park. See directions below. We will start at the Park.
Step 6 -- Be aware that we will have a picnic lunch on Sunday. Come prepared with a cooler of some type.

When -- July 21st and 22nd
Day by Day Schedule of Events
July 21st
10:00 -- 11:00 am -- Meet at Indian Park, Montoursville, PA
Check out Park Map for Details
11:15 am -- Driver's Meeting
11:30 am -- Travel to Murray Mazda, Williamsport, PA
12:15 pm -- Lunch (provided by Murray Mazda)
1:00 pm -- Door Prizes awarded
1:15 pm -- Brief Meeting and depart for Wellsboro, PA
4:00 pm -- Arrive at Penn Wells Hotel in Wellsboro, PA (Check in)
4:30 pm -- Recommended time to gather food on our own for the picnic lunch on Sunday. There is a grocery store just a short walk down the road etc.
5:30 pm -- Dinner. I am working to secure reservations at the famed Steak House in Wellsboro - awesome food and a great idea for sure! Please let me know how many will be joining.
7:30 pm -- Informal evening ride (weather depending) to Hammond Lake in Tiogo county.
July 22nd
7:45 am -- Informal Breakfast at the Wellsboro Diner just up the road from the Hotel. (Nice morning walk). I suggest early risers head over early -- it gets busy -- and it is a tiny place!
9:30 am -- From Wellsboro, travel to the Grand Canyon of PA
11:30 am -- Arrive at the Park (picnic lunch -- we will just find a spot!).
12:00 pm on -- Visit the park, take a hike to the bottom, continue travels to your home etc. This time is open to whatever everyone wants to do.

Call Now to get your ROOM! I have an email in to them - but, rooms may be going fast. I'm working on getting a few set aside. HOTEL -- Everyone needs to make their own reservations at the Hotel. Rooms start at $72 + tax per night. Please contact Valerie to make any reservations at 1 800 545-2446.

Directions to the Starting Point
These cover coming from Williamsport on 180 and going toward Williamsport on Route 180. All should plan your route to 180 (if you need help, email me).
Also, I have included directions to the dealer as some have suggested they will be arriving later. Please note the time we will be leaving the dealer if you are planning a late arrival.
Directions to Starting Point - Indian Park, Montoursville, PA -- going toward Williamsport
Take Exit 21, Montoursville
Turn RT at the end of the exit
Straight through 1st Traffic Light
Straight through 2nd Traffic Light
Straight through 3rd Traffic Light
Go past carved Indian on RT (slow down), turn is coming up
(0.3 mile past 3rd light) Turn RT on Park Road
(Extremely low cars may want to take the first park road to the left and circle around the back of the park area - avoiding the huge speed bump coming up. If you do, you will go past Pavillion 4. Park in lot next to restrooms directly ahead)

Sign me up!!!! I so wanted to do this trip last year but wasn't allowed to drive at that time. Becky and I eventually went up to the canyon on our own in September.
I'm not sure if it will be both of us or just me at this point, but I'll let you know when I know.

My husband, Michael, and I were on your World's End run last year. Had a great time!!
Do you know about what time we'd be done on Sunday? I'm scheduled for Pocono Days with Del-Val on Monday, 7/23. Don't want to be wiped out for that!
